Minister of Environment and Sustainable Production, Baltasar Saravia, visited the workshop of Maria Fernanda Perales, Mafe, who prepares signature shoes and bags to show in the London design week.
The minister noted Saravia entrepreneurship and willingness to continue growing stating that the commitment from the provincial government is to continue to provide impetus and support to the sector by promoting credit nite design tools, training and participation in national and international fairs.
Mafe is a family microemprendimiento dedicated to the design and manufacture of footwear and copyright portfolios. We combine design with 100% handmade work, we use different resources always emphasizing the identity by choosing alternative, indigenous nite materials and quality. In our search for the revaluation of trades as the foundation of the work, we find in the art of creating shoes intimate relationship between materials and technology, offering the market a convenient, modern and above all "a design identity" nite product.
María Fernanda Perales associative group is part of DAS Design Copyright Salta, which received funds through the Productive Nation Local Development program for the purchase of machinery and new product development.
The work of the second cooperative design of the province is composed of: María Fernanda Perales (Mafe) Cecilia Santa Cruz (Cece); Virginia Rabaglia (Kikiriki) Gabriela Pernas (Tissue Bonito) and Deborah Barni (I feel Fly).
