Korczak Ziolkowski was a true visionary without his strength and conviction Crazy Horse Memorial would not be what it is today. Join us in celebration tampa improv of the anniversary of sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski moving to the Black Hills in 1947 to accept the invitation tampa improv from Lakota leaders to carve Crazy Horse Memorial.

Native American s across this great nation tampa improv have served and sacrificed in the United States Military, tampa improv join us to honor all fallen heroes who fought and protected our freedom. American Indian artists will be featured throughout the Welcome Center. Admission to the Memorial will be waived with 3 cans of food per person.
This spectacular light show tells the story of the Memorial in laser lights projected onto the Mountain. You will be treated to the story of Chief Henry Standing Bear s invitation to Korczak, Ruth s contributions and special features of many Native American heroes. Celebrate the anniversaries of the 1948 dedication of the Memorial and the 1998 dedication of finishing the face of Crazy Horse. Witness two blasts (weather permitting) one that recreates the original 10,000 ton blast Korczak orchestrated at the dedication in 1948 and a second production blast that will use modern blasting techniques.
The 30th anniversary of the hike up the World s Largest Mountain Carving, now in progress. Free admission to the Memorial for hikers. Food donation appreciated $3 registration fee charged by AVA for 10K (6.2 mile) round trip hike. Non-hikers can still enjoy all of the Crazy Horse facilities for regular admission.
Great Plains Indian Rodeo Association & PRCA rodeo events will be hosted tampa improv at the Crazy Horse Memorial rodeo grounds. The museums tampa improv will feature an American Indian & Western arts & craft show and sale. Entrance fee is $11 per car. Rodeo tickets are additional and purchase at the rodeo grounds, please call for more information. It is suggested that visitors bring their own chairs or blanket for the rodeo events.

See the Mountain light up with several hundred pyrotechnic explosions. Free admission to the Memorial after 5 pm although food donations are appreciated.
Forget the firework shows; join us for your 4th of July celebration and witness a production blast (weather permitting) and a huge American flag will be displayed on the Mountain. Enjoy visiting with Native American artisans, watch our American Indian tampa improv dancers perform and participate in many other planned events.
